- PETE ORGANIZES AND WORKS WITH A TEAM FROM PNCA
Faculty and students to complete 340 monotypes and screen prints for The Nines, a new hotel in downtown Portland. The team included PNCA faculty: Christy Wyckoff, Tom Prochaska, Yoshi Kitai, Abra Ancliffe, Morgan Walker and Matthew Letzelter, print technician Palmarin Merges, and PNCA students Alena Turner, Vanessa Kauffman and Derek Franklin.
- OCAC BRAND BOOK WINS AIGA AWARD
Pete McCracken of Crack Press | Plazmfonts handprinted 3 color letterpress pages on newsprint for Ziba Design’s OCAC brand identity. The tactile nature of the letterpress and materials emphasized the creative direction. The book will be added to the AIGA Design Museum in Denver, CO.
